This organization has specific requirements to become a member – for example, the business must be independently owned; serve a commercially useful function; have been in operation for at least one year; have 25 employees or less; have a physical business address and be certified by the city’s Business Assistance Division.

At SBE, the programs purpose is to foster growth in the economy and provide opportunities for small business. They certify SBE’s for contracting and procurement opportunities in construction, good and services, professional services and supplies.

In addition, on-going business training and networking is available to help members prosper and survive in any type of economy.
